Beef Stew



Mom's Beef Stew

2 lbs stew meat
1 chopped onion
Garlic
Seasoning salt
Salt
Pepper
Other spices as desired
3 potatoes peeled and diced
3 or 4 carrots peeled & sliced
1 can petite diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 can crisp corn - drained
1 can English peas - drained
1 can Ranch Style beans
2 beef bullion cubes (optional)


Brown 2 lbs stew meat and
1 chopped onion
Add garlic & seasoning
Place in a large cook pot
Add the following:
3 potatoes peeled and diced
3 or 4 carrots peeled & sliced
Cover with water and simmer for 1 hour.
Add the following:
1 can petite diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 can crisp corn - drained
1 can English peas - drained
1 can Ranch Style beans
2 beef bullion cubes (optional)
Salt, pepper, other spices to taste
Simmer another 2 hours.
Serve with cornbread or crackers.
