Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Great on any meat and most vegetables!

Creamy mushroom sauce
Prep Time - 5 mins
Cook Time - 15 mins
Total Time - 20 mins

Perfect with pasta or on any meat.
Serves: 4 - 6

1 T Butter
2 T Olive oil
5 C sliced mushrooms
1 t dried thyme
1 T crushed garlic
1 C heavy whipping cream
1 C milk mixed with 3 teaspoons corn flour/corn starch
1 T lemon juice
2 T chopped parsley
salt & pepper to taste

Heat the butter and olive oil together.
Add the mushrooms and the thyme and season with salt and pepper.
Allow the mushrooms to cook until brown. Then add the garlic.

Pour in the cream and milk and allow to simmer gently for 5-10 minutes until the sauce has thickened and cooked through.
Season with lemon, salt and pepper and add the parsley.
