Sugar Slaw

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 onion
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • Dressing:
  • 1 twp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup oil

Instructions
 

  • Chop cabbage fine and stir in sugar - slice onion and arrange in layers.
  • Dressing - combine all but oil - bring to rolling boil - add oil - pour over slaw. DO NOT stir - cover and refrigerate 24 - 48 hours.
