Sugar Slaw
Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage
- 1 onion
- 3/4 cup sugar
- Dressing:
- 1 twp. celery seed
- 1 tsp prepared mustard
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 cup oil
Instructions
- Chop cabbage fine and stir in sugar - slice onion and arrange in layers.
- Dressing - combine all but oil - bring to rolling boil - add oil - pour over slaw. DO NOT stir - cover and refrigerate 24 - 48 hours.
