Put beans in a large container and cover with water. Soak overnight.
Drain beans and add to crock pot.
Slice bacon into 1" pieces. Cook in a skillet then add to crock pot, grease and all.
Add the chilis, tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, and onions to crock pot.
Add the beer to the crock pot, stir until mixed, then cover with an inch of water.
Cook on high for at least 4 hours, then reduce to low if desired.
End product should be the consistency of a thick soup. If dry, add water and heat.
